Description: LOOK (Loving Ourselves and Our Kids) provides a supportive environment for both parents/guardians/family members who have LGBTQ children and their LGBTQ identified children. Co-facilitators are responsible for creating a welcoming and respectful environment for all participants, as well as for facilitating an effective dialogue to foster community connection, healing, and healthy communication. Other activities for facilitators include providing referral information as needed, creating and scheduling diverse discussion topics, assisting with program promotion and participating in mandatory quarterly meetings.

Requirements: 

• Be an LGBTQ identified or family member of an LGBTQ identified individual who is a family oriented community member
• Have an interest in creating fun, age appropriate activities and events for families
• Reliable
• Attend monthly LOOK activities and planning meetings
• Training will be provided
